產品介紹 | NF-kappa-B is a ubiquitous transcription factor involved in several biological processes. It is held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state by specific inhibitors. Upon degradation of the inhibitor, NF-kappa-B moves to the nucleus and activates transcription of specific genes. NF-kappa-B is composed of NFKB1 or NFKB2 bound to either REL, RELA, or RELB. The most abundant form of NF-kappa-B is NFKB1 complexed with the product of this gene, RELA. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. SWISS: Q04206 Gene ID: 5970 轉錄調節因子(Transcriptin Regulators) NF-κBp65是一種重要的轉錄因子,NF-kBp65可激活參與炎癥、細胞增殖、細胞凋亡等基因的調節,影響著細胞的凋亡,同時影響著腫瘤細胞對細胞毒性藥物及離子輻射的敏感性。ras基因誘導的致癌突變作用需NFkB的活化,提示NFkB在致癌發生方面可能起一定作用;另有文獻報道,在乳腺癌、非小細胞性肺癌、甲狀腺癌、T或B淋巴細胞白血病及病毒誘變導致的腫瘤等人類腫瘤中,NFkB活化或表達。 經研究認為:NFKBp65蛋白在靜息狀態下以結合態的方式存在于胞漿中,當NFKBp65蛋白被激活后解離進入細胞核。(NF-κB與其抑制蛋白IκB家族成員結合,以無活性的復合物形式存在于胞漿中,當細胞受到各種刺激后,NF- κB與IκB 解離,從而進入細胞核,與相應的靶序列結合,調節基因的表達) |
